6 Pack Friendly Recipe: Lentil Bruschetta Dip

Summer has arrived and it is time to show off those bikini bodies and all of your hard work. With summer comes pool parties and gatherings, which also mean lots of food. Here is a great appetizer recipe that is light but can still keep you full. This lentil bruschetta dip is always a great hit at parties or just on its own. It is full of protein, healthy fats, and deliciousness. All you need is:

  • 1 pack Trader Joes premade lentils: If you don’t have a Trader Joes, don’t freak out! You might just have to pre make the lentils and you can get these at any grocery store.
  • 1 container Trader Joes bruschetta mix – If you have a Trader Joes, you can find this in the refrigerated section. If not, you can either make this from scratch or find something similar at your local grocery.
  • Fat free feta cheese crumbles

How to Make It –

  • Combine lentils and feta cheese into a mixing bowl. The amount of cheese added is completely up to you.
  • Before adding the bruschetta mix, make sure to drain out most of the oil. Once drained, add to the rest of the ingredients.
  • Mix and enjoy!

See, I told you it was easy! This appetizer can be served with chips or just on its own. Lentils are a great source of protein and will help keep you nice and full so you don’t fill up on empty calorie foods.
