Compared to back squats which hit the glutes, front squats focus on the quads.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s definitely one of the best weight training workouts for leg muscle mass.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stand inside a squat rack and set the barbell parallel to your chest.<\/li>\n<li>Position yourself under the bar so the weight rests across your front deltoids.<\/li>\n<li>After you\u2019ve positioned the bar, place your hands under the bar so your palms are facing upward. Push your elbows upward until your upper arms are parallel to the floor. This will be your grip all throughout the exercise.<\/li>\n<li>Once you\u2019ve established a firm grip on the bar, lift the weight off the rack, keep your feet shoulder-width apart, and take two steps away from the rack. This will be your starting position.<\/li>\n<li>Slowly lower your torso by bending your knees until your thighs are parallel to the floor.<\/li>\n<li>Next, push your body back up to the starting position.<\/li>\n<li>Do two to three sets of eight reps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Step 2: Three-Point Dumbbell Row<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/gifs\/2Y7qgP6LyBwgQE9yzJ\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/media.giphy.com\/media\/2Y7qgP6LyBwgQE9yzJ\/giphy.gif?resize=480%2C270&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Animated GIF - Find &amp; Share on GIPHY\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Three-point dumbbell rows are weight training exercises that primarily hit your lats. At the same time, they also work your lower traps and rhomboids.<\/p>\n<p>Also, if you want to do weight training at home, all you\u2019ll need for this exercise is a pair of dumbbells.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Place your dumbbells on each side of a flat bench.<\/li>\n<li>Position your right knee on the bench then bend your body forward until your torso is parallel to the floor. Place your right hand on the bench for support<\/li>\n<li>Use your left hand to pick up the dumbbell on your left side.<\/li>\n<li>Keeping your elbows close to your body, pull the weight up to your chest.<\/li>\n<li>Lower the weight back down. They\u2019re a great beginner weight training exercise you can do at home.<\/p>\n<p>The standard push-up primarily targets the chest muscles. But it also works the shoulders, deltoids, and triceps.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Place your hands on the ground around shoulder-width apart. While the single-leg bridge primarily works your glutes, it\u2019s also a great core-strengthening exercise.<\/p>\n<p>The single-leg bridge is also a great workout to <a href=\"https:\/\/vshred.com\/blog\/3-exercises-for-abs-best-oblique-exercises-for-a-six-pack\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sculpt those washboard abs<\/a> you\u2019ve always wanted.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lie on your back with your feet planted on the ground and your knees bent.<\/li>\n<li>Raise your left leg and extend it in front of you. This will be your starting position.<\/li>\n<li>Drive your heel to the ground to push your hips upward.<\/li>\n<li>Slowly lower your body back down.
