When it comes to losing weight, there is one factor that, once taken care of, will yield the most significant results. This “factor” is your diet. But before you jump into trying to create your own meal plan or if you think that your diet is “on point” or maybe you’re just trying to starve yourself, please watch the video above.
In this video, I cover the nucleus that any type of fat loss diet is built around. What I’m talking about are your “macros”, which is short for “macronutrients” and these consist of your carbs, fats and proteins. Understanding how and why each of these affect your body is the most crucial piece of the puzzle when trying to get real results.
Too many times, when people are trying to lose weight, I hear them saying they don’t eat any carbs or they don’t eat fats or maybe they just restrict their bodies of calories altogether. Truth is, our bodies need each and every one of these macros whether you’re trying to slim down or get huge, it does not matter.
Also, it’s important to understand that there are better carbs than others, healthier fats than others, and leaner proteins than others, which all affect your body differently. And once you start consistently implementing the right kind of macros in your daily regimen, you’ll look better in the mirror but you’ll also feel better throughout the day.
