When you think about your genetics …. what comes to mind?

Probably traits passed down from your parents .. like your eye and hair color, the shape of your nose, maybe even your hot temper, and of course, the shape of your body.

You have probably heard someone say something similar to this (and possibly even said it yourself) …“Everyone in my family is overweight. It doesn’t matter what I do, it’s my genetics.”

The Second Genome
There are over 37 trillion “human” cells in our bodies that contain our DNA, and the majority of these cells ARE NOT hereditary genes.

It’s a “second set of genes” that researchers call our second genome. Unlike your inherited genes, which are more or less fixed, this second set of genes is not.

First, let’s explain what this “second genome” is.
