<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I tried working out before I found your program. I didn’t really know what I was doing, just throwing weights around. I wasn’t seeing any progress,”</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> remembers Brandon before discovering V Shred. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Brandon’s starting point was 210 pounds and close to 28 percent body fat. He says he jiggled when he walked and got too winded to play with his young kids. </span></p>

<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“That was the coolest part about the whole thing is watching my body shrink and muscles are starting to develop, and you can see them,” says Brandon</span></i></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Brandon says it’s not just the aesthetic changes, inspiring others, or even the health benefits from losing weight &#8212; he says his entire life has changed for the better since finding V Shred a year and a half ago. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">How heavy you lift has a lot to do with your goals and experience level. It will vary for every person, every exercise, and every workout. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But there are still some common sense guidelines you can follow to help you figure out how to maximize both the safety and the effectiveness of your workouts! </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The short answer is: Muscle growth does not necessarily depend on the amount of weight you lift.  As long as you lift heavy enough to challenge yourself and use proper form, you should build muscle and strength. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">And no, ladies, lifting heavy enough to feel challenging will not make you &#8220;bulky.&#8221; On the contrary, lifting too light is a surefire way to make your workouts less effective for all goals! </span></p>

<h3><b>Think effort and form, not numbers</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Before you even think about how much weight you should lift &#8212;  you need to focus on </span><b><i>PROPER FORM! </i></b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Male or female, you should work hard enough to send your body a loud and clear message to change while not pushing yourself beyond where you can recover from—or hurting yourself. Not every rep should be easy. But not every rep should be hard, either! </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The key to finding this balance is slowing down, being patient, and not letting your ego decide how much weight to lift. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Keep in mind that “heavy” is individual. Heavy for one person could be 5lbs, and for another, it could be 100lbs. Don’t focus on that. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">All you need to do is use proper form and lift heavy enough to challenge yourself on some of your reps. Then ever so often (every week or even every couple of weeks), increase the weight, number of reps, or number of sets. You could also push just a little closer to &#8220;muscle failure,&#8221; or the point where you can&#8217;t do another rep.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">These are all forms of what is known as </span><b><i>progressive overload. </i></b></p>
<h3><b>Let Your Workout Rep Range Guide You</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A good rule to help you pick weights is to aim to perform all the reps and sets prescribed with proper form, but make each set progressively more challenging. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Here is what this could look like…</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Say you’re in the gym, and the workout says to do four sets of 8-12 reps, like most of the gym workouts in our program</span><b><a href="https://vshred.com/programs/fat-loss-extreme?ref=programs" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Fat Loss Extreme For Men</a> or <a href="https://vshred.com/sp/fat-loss-extreme-f/sku_CKcwR4TEg54IeG?ref=programs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fat Loss Extreme For Women. </a></b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Aim to make the first set kinda easy— like you feel you probably have a solid 4-5 reps left in the tank. Wait 60-90 seconds, and then add a little weight, so you have about 3 reps left in the tank. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Now you’re warmed up and breathing a little harder. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Rest another 60-90 seconds, and do a third set. This time, only leave a couple reps in the tank. Rest again </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">On that final set, keep repping until you’re pretty sure you don’t have another rep in you. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you only managed 5, you probably went a bit too heavy. Got 12-15 or more? You went too light. No problem; just write it in your workout log and remember it for next week.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: #444444; font-size: 1rem;">You can be healthy or unhealthy with any body type. Just because you are “skinny” doesn&#8217;t mean you are healthy, and just because you are “curvy” or “big-boned” doesn&#8217;t mean you are unhealthy.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But the shape of your body </span><b><i>can be telling of your overall health</i></b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> and how easily you can lose weight, put on muscle, and get in better shape. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This body type theory originated way back in the 1940s by a psychologist and scientist named William Sheldon. His research determined there are </span><b><i>three body types </i></b><span style="font-weight: 400;">based on bone structure and body composition.</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Endomorphs</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mesomorphs</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ectomorphs</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There are no doubt outside factors that contribute to your body type, such as lifestyle, gender, age, and even hormones. But Sheldon concluded that body types are mainly inherited (genetic.)</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This body type is known to be the hardest to have in terms of managing your weight and overall fitness. We will tell you how to know if you have an endomorph body type and the best way to eat and train to achieve the best results. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><b>WHAT IS AN ENDOMORPH BODY TYPE</b></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you are an endomorph, that doesn’t automatically mean you are less healthy than other body types, but it does mean that you may have to work a little harder to lose excess body fat. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Zabrina’s weight loss journey started a little different from most of our customers. Her “breaking point” didn’t come about because a doctor told her she needed to lose weight if she wanted to live a long life, after trying on a swimsuit, because she hated every picture she saw of herself, or any other “why” that typically pushes our customers to start a weight-loss program.</span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I was in a very dark place in my life for a second. I was starting my surgery center and had a lot of stress. I did get pregnant and had a miscarriage in the surgery center, and fell into depression. I needed to do something quickly to snap me out of it. I figured I needed to do something drastic. So I shaved my head,” </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">says Zabrina. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The 45-year-old nurse, wife, and mom of four says it was then that she really noticed her weight was an issue. </span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“When I did that, I can’t hide anymore, right? All my flaws, my weight was really evident at that point. Even though it helped me snap out of the depression of miscarriage, I actually dipped a little into depression again because of my weight.”</span></i></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Coincidently, just a few days later, Zabrina was scrolling through her social media feed when she came across an advertisement for V Shred. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But it wasn’t a crazy before &amp; after  transformation that led her to click the link, take our body type quiz and purchase a program. It was</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> a video that mentioned learning how to eat! </span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“There was a video that said you can learn how to eat, let me teach you about macros, your body type, are you an endomorph, mesomorph, and I was like this is </span></i><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">so interesting. It didn’t feel pushy or like you wanted to push some program on us, but it was more like open and friendly, and you wanted to educate us, and that is what I grasped off.”</span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Without hesitation, Zabrina purchased </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fat Loss Xtreme</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> and got to work! </span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I wanted to look in the mirror, and I wanted to love myself, and I was having a hard time doing that. So I knew I needed to take matters into my own hands and transform what I was seeing in the mirror. I have older kids too , and my 23 and 19-year-old, no one even believes I am their mom right now,” </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">says Zabrina.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Of course, she loves the aesthetic changes and the new outlook on life that came with losing so much weight, but Zabrina says her favorite part about the journey is that she finally knows how to eat! </span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“It was so obvious to me I had no idea how to eat. I thought by starving yourself, that was the key. Just don’t eat, and you will lose weight. That is so wrong. Your body has a memory, your body needs fuel, and you need to workout, and you need carbs.”</span></i></p>

<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I was talking to my girlfriends the other day, and they were like I wish I was 21 again, and I’m like &#8211; I don’t! I’m perfectly fine being fabulous at 45.” </span></i></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Renae was off to a good start with discovering hers but needed to dig a little bit deeper than wanting to confidently wear a swimsuit. </span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I was in a size 8 or 10, and they were tight on me.  I didn’t feel good about them. I’d look down and see rolls of whatever and was like, I don’t like the way I look. I just wanted to feel like I looked good again.”</span></i></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">That still wasn’t specific enough. Renae knew there was more, and after further soul searching &#8212; </span><b><i>it finally clicked!</i></b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Renae realized it had been a long time since she saw a picture of herself and had something positive to say! Right then and there, she knew her why and the goal she needed to set to keep herself motivated. </span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I booked a vacation, and I called the resort ahead of time and I booked a professional photographer to take pictures while I was there.”</span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She also kept her bikini on display as a constant visual reminder of her why and the time-stamped goal only a few months away! </span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I hung my bathing suit on the mirror, and every morning I’d get up and do my workouts,”</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> says Renae. </span></p>

<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I think that was the big difference for me. By putting on that muscle, all the fat just started melting off,” </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">says Renae. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lean muscle changed the shape of her body so much that there were times Renae says </span><b><i>she didn’t even recognize herself! </i></b></p>

<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“When I got these pictures back, I was floored that I liked pictures of me, and I was floored about the way I knew I felt inside when I was doing those,” </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">smiles Renae.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Renae even printed her favorite photos and put them on display! So now, instead of a bikini hanging on her mirror, she has pictures of herself wearing it that serve as motivation moving forward.</span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I never want to go back to how I felt before V Shred. I want to feel like this as far forward as I can feel this way,”</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> says Renae. </span></p>

<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I was sick of looking at myself. I had to get to the point of where it was like, I am worth it, and I’m worth pushing through this,” says Rich.</span></i></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Rich wanted to change but had already tried what seemed like every diet out there and failed every single time. So as you can imagine, when he saw an advertisement for V Shred on Facebook, his first instinct was to keep scrolling.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Normally, I scroll past stuff like that, but it was different than anything I’d seen before. Something about that ad. There was a story. Someone said V Shred was life-changing for them, and I have always loved the saying &#8212; when you change the way you see yourself, you change the way you see the world. That is kind of what I got from that interview you had there. So I said, let’s go, let’s try it,” </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">says Rich.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Rich is now healthy, happy, and has a totally different attitude about working out, dieting, and weight loss!</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">After?&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I don’t think I quite understood what it took. Everyone knows and talks about lifestyle change, but it was hard for me to grasp it until you do it,” says Rich</span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Learning how to create healthy lifestyle habits through tracking macros and fueling his body with healthy foods was probably the most challenging part for Rich, but once his body adjusted, he says it’s all his body wants!</span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“ I used to eat fast food 3-4 times a week. Now it makes me sick! I crave the good proteins. I crave the vegetables. The energy is unbelievable that I have now!”</span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Learning a new way to eat wasn’t Rich’s only challenge &#8212; </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“There were days I was sweating, threw up a lot, and cried,”</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> remembers Rich.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In the beginning, Rich says that some days the workouts got the best of him both physically and mentally.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“The first week I got the program, and the exercises looked really easy to do, but it was way tougher. It was kind of a reality check to me where I physically was. I damn near quit right there. That reality check was real hard for me to get over. I’m not gonna lie. I failed the first couple of times, but I picked myself up and kept going.”</span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Good thing he pushed through because 33 weeks later, </span><b><i>Rich is down 72 pounds and doing things he never thought were possible!&nbsp;</i></b></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Last year, I couldn’t walk up the stairs to my office without feeling sweating and feeling fatigued. This weekend I climbed a freaking mountain! I climbed a bloody mountain! I’m not done yet either. I am far from done.”&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Losing such a substantial amount of weight was far from easy. Rich says he had many days he didn’t want to workout. But one thing he credits for helping him stay on track was the </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">option to either workout from home or at a gym.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“That is one of the things that initially made me purchase V Shred. That type of flexibility where some days it’s harder to get to the gym, well, there is nothing stopping me from getting on the floor and doing my work. <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Make sure you are going all out during the entire 45 seconds!! HIIT workouts, especially really short ones like this, are only effective if you get your heart rate in that 80-90% max range for the entire “work” time! </span></li>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Emily is a 39-year-old mom of two (ages 18 and 13) who loves to spend her free time with family, hiking, biking, and gardening!</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Emily says she knew she could stand to lose a few pounds and tighten and tone her physique but never thought much about it until summer 2020 when a friend suggested they become “accountability partners.” </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fast forward approximately 3 months later, and after one round using the Fat Loss Xtreme program and working one-on-one with a V Shred trainer to clean up her diet….</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span><b><i>Emily lost 11 pounds, numerous inches all over her body, and 4 sizes!</i></b></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Emily completed </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fat Loss Xtreme </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">and has now shifted gears and is doing </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">TONED IN 90 DAYS.</span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I thought my goal would be to hit 120, and then I’ll feel really good. But I’m actually at 116 now and hoping to build up muscle and gain more muscle weight. So I’d be happy with muscle weight gain. Just to be more toned,” she says </span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">While Emily’s end goal is to be more toned and defined, she says that isn’t her ultimate goal. </span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“My main goal is to not die old and sick. If I start now, maybe I’m in a good position to do that. I want to be healthy enough to live a long healthy life,” says Emily. </span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Which ties into the advice Emily says she would give anyone hesitant to get started! She says to think of what could happen if you don’t take that step and start taking care of yourself.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“</span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s expensive to be sick. Hopefully, it&#8217;s a trade-off. Whatever little bit of money I spend now is worth it to me because I’m helping myself in the long run,” says Emily. </span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Emily says that she is so confident that V Shred programs work that if a friend was on the fence &#8212; she would pay for it herself!! </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Keira is now a happy and healthy 24-year old that laughs that she can out squat most of the guys at her gym. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But it hasn’t always been that way. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Just a few years ago, a move to California caused Kiera to sink into a bad place and gain excess weight that she knew wasn’t healthy.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Keira got started right away, and</span><b><i> the results happened quickly! </i></b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> “I dropped a total of 20 pounds after three months,” remembers Keira. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">These results were mainly from exercise alone. Keira says she didn’t have her eating under control yet, and her mindset still wasn’t in the best spot.</span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I loved food, but then again, I was also really depressed &#8217;cause I was living away from my family. So it took a couple years before I got really strict with it,” she says.</span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As important as working out is, it’s only part of losing weight and keeping it off. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Keira realized this, and after leaving California and moving to Washington last year, she decided to get back on </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><a href="https://vshred.com/sp/toned-in-90-days/v1/?ref=programs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Toned in 90 Days</a>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Except this time, she </span><b><i>WENT</i></b> <b><i>ALL IN </i></b><span style="font-weight: 400;">with both exercise and proper nutrition. Keira says that is when the real shift happened!! </span></p>

I started adding carbs back in &#8217;cause, for a while, I just completely cut out carbs, and I realized that was a mistake. And so (laughs) after I gave the carbs back and, um, upping my fats, I dropped another 30 pounds.&#8221;</span></i><i><span style="font-weight: 400;"></span></i></p>

I have abs for the first time in my life, and I&#8217;m actually rather muscular. I&#8217;ll be at the gym, I&#8217;m  squatting more than the guys next to me,” laughs Keira</span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Keira is now at her goal weight of 137 but isn’t slowing down!</span></p>

But the fact that I&#8217;m at a point now that I thought was impossible before, but now I&#8217;ve reached it, I just wanna keep going and building muscle and just being the strongest I&#8217;ve ever been,” says Keira.</span></i></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Until you realize that likely means …</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">wearing a swimsuit …</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">and you glance in the mirror to see the not-so-flat stomach that has been hiding under jackets and baggy sweatshirts all winter!</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Today we have an </span><b><i>AB WORKOUT CHALLENGE </i></b><span style="font-weight: 400;">that will help you get your abs ready for swimsuit season! </span></p>
<p><b><i>But before we tell you about the challenge…</i></b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s important to point out that </span><b><i>if you are healthy and happy </i></b><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8212; the perfect “beach body” is the one you have right now! We support you in being confident no matter your shape or waist size. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><b><i>You do NOT need shredded abs to wear a swimsuit<br />
</i></b><b><i>Swimsuit ready can be at ANY SIZE….</i></b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Being healthy should be your priority and for most people, that won’t be having </span><b><i>year-round rock hard abs.</i></b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Getting a shredded six-pack requires having </span><b><i>very low body fat.</i></b></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It consists of </span><b>FOUR EXERCISES.</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> None of them are advanced movements. These are what we call the basic staples.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Don’t let the world ‘basic” fool you.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">These exercises are staples because they work and </span><b><i>hit all areas of the abs that you need to challenge to get six-pack abs! </i></b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">What makes this ab challenge .. challenging … is the number of rounds. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You&#8217;ll start where you can. Even if that is only one round. But then the next day, you attempt to do another round, then the next time another round, and so on.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The idea is to keep adding rounds (as you can) so that you progressively overload your abs!</span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><b><i>Because remember ..<br />
</i></b><b><i>Your abs are just like any other muscle in your body<br />
</i></b><b><i>and need progressive overload for growth.</i></b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Here is the thing with ab training though… it’s probably the muscle group where people use the crappiest form. </span></p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><b>POOL PARTY AB WORKOUT CHALLENGE</b></p>
<p><b>STRUCTURE<br />
</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">10 reps of each exercise.<br />
</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">No rest in-between exercises.<br />
</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">After all 4 exercises, you will rest for 1 minute.<br />
</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Repeat for as many rounds as you can. </span></p>
<p><b>EXERCISES<br />
</b><b>Exercise One: Straight Arm Crunch</b></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lay flat on your back.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Stick your arms straight up over your chest.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Crunch up ONLY using your abs.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Raise arms toward the ceiling, but keep them straight. Do not rock or use your arms to gain momentum!!  If you do that, you won’t be working your abs very much at all! Keep those arms locked!!</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Repeat for 10 total reps.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><b>Exercise Two: Russian Twist </b></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Sit up on your tailbone.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lean torso “back” until your feet come up off the ground.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Clasp your hands together and turn/rotate your shoulders to one side as much as you can until your elbow comes as close to the ground as possible.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Do the same thing on the other side. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Once you have gone to each side, that is one rep.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Repeat for 10 total reps. </span></li>
</ul>
<p><b>Exercise Three: Reverse Crunch </b><b>(Vince’s favorite bodyweight ab exercise) </b></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lay flat on your back. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Put your hands on the floor next to you or under your butt.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Put your knees up at a 90-degree angle.  This is your starting position. It is where you will start every single rep. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Drive your knees into your chest until your lower back comes up off the floor.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bring your knees back to the starting position.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Repeat for 10 total reps.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><b>Exercise Four: Heel Taps</b></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Stay on your back. Put your feet on the floor with knees bent. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Your arms stay down by your sides.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Crunch up (shoulder blades off the mat) and then reach out as far as possible with your hands.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Twist to the left, tap your left heel, and then twist to the right and tap your right heel. Keep your shoulder blades off the floor the entire time!  </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">One rep is once you have tapped each heel.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Repeat for 10 total reps.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><b><i>You may be thinking that this sounds pretty “easy” &#8212;  </i></b><span style="font-weight: 400;">but remember that you are going for as many rounds as possible and there is no rest between exercises. You only get to rest after all 4 exercises are complete! </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Your first attempt will be </span><b><i>setting your personal “base-line.” </i></b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> You are determining how many rounds you can do as of right now. Then in a day or two, you will do the workout again and try to get in at least one more round.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If  you can’t do another round yet, no problem! Try adding another next time!!</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will keep attempting more rounds every time you do the workout (which we suggest doing at least a few times a week.) </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Don’t get frustrated if you can’t advance right away, or get stuck on a certain number of rounds, just make sure you aren’t doing fewer rounds than the time before.  </span><b><i>Aim to do the same number of rounds as the previous day &#8212; or more!</i></b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Even if it takes you a couple weeks to add another round &#8212; as long as you are progressing, consistent with doing the challenge at least a few days a week, focusing on full-body exercise, and </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">eating for your body type and goals</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> &#8212; </span><b><i>you will lose fat and get those abs poppin!</i></b></p>
